The Commission’s proposed electoral redistribution
In accordance with section 47 of the Electoral Act 1992, the Queensland Redistribution Commission has prepared its proposed electoral redistribution of the State’s electoral districts.

Objections against the proposed redistribution closed on 9 April 2026 and can be viewed here.
The Commission will consider the objections and comments on objections and make any necessary changes to the proposed electoral redistribution before it releases its final determination on the electoral redistribution in mid-2026.
